🧭 What “Still Alive” Really Means – And Why It Matters
At EternalGoodbye, we understand how important timing is when it comes to delivering your final message. That’s why we’re excited to introduce a thoughtful new feature: Still Alive.
You’ll now find this option in your profile settings. It’s a simple but powerful way to make sure your messages reach your loved ones only when the time is truly right.
📩 How Does It Work?
With the Still Alive function, you choose a trusted contact — a close friend or family member — and enter their email. This person won’t receive anything right away.
Instead, you’ll select a time interval that works best for you:
- Every 3 days
- Every 14 days
- Every 30 days
- Every 3 months
- Every 6 months
- Or once a year
At the end of each interval, they’ll receive a gentle email titled:
“Are You Still With Us?”
Inside is a simple button:
👉 Yes, I’m still here
Once you click it, the timer resets and the cycle continues.
But if that email isn’t confirmed within 3 days, our system assumes something may have happened.
📬 What Happens Then?
If no confirmation is our system received within that window, your goodbye message will be sent to the email address you provided — along with a list of recipients and their Message IDs.
Those recipients can then go to our “Get Message” page, enter their ID, and answer a security question to receive what you wanted them to know.
🔒 You’re Always in Control
You can:
- Edit the contact person anytime
- Change the interval
- See exactly when the next check-in email will be sent
All in your profile.

The Still Alive feature is now available for:
- ✅ Trio Plan users
- ✅ Multi Messages plan users
This is one more way we’re helping you take care of your loved ones — even when you can’t be there in person.
